Robyn

I had an appointment today at 4pm. (I mistakenly came in at 3pm, and left and came back at 4 btw.) I was told earlier that a man came in 20 minutes late and expected to still get his taxes done. And on top of that it was business taxes so he had to leave and do it another time. My appointment was with Charles Fike. It's now 4:20pm and I asked the receptionist if I'm still able to get my taxes done, because earlier the guy who was 20 min. late had to reschedule. She thought it was hilarious and said yes, cause he had BUSINESS tax. I'm still thinking, ok, but it's 20 after, is he going to be much longer? (Cause nobody had checked with me since I returned.) She went to check, came back and said he's finishing up. At 4:25 some guy walks up to the door and just stands there, didn't say anything. But by his body language, the shrug and raised eyebrows I assumed he was Charles. Usually, you'd say, hi...are you X person? Come with me. At least acknowledge me. I was already annoyed cause how rude they felt it was for a client to be 20 min. late but it's fine to do it yourself. And I think he was irritated that I had asked how much longer. I walk over and as I'm following him I say, must be running late today. He literally stops, turns to me and goes, "Ya, I've been busy." I'm not paying for a service to somebody who's unprofessional and doesn't respect my time. But demands it himself. I walked out. The two older ladies, that were there earlier, were very nice and helpful. But I'm not doing business with someone who's so arrogant they didn't even say, sorry I was running late. First impressions matter.
