Jane Davis has been my tax preparer for the last 25 years for both my personal and individual returns. She has always offered prompt and courteous service. She has an excellent knowledge of tax laws.

I hate to leave bad reviews but I don't want anyone to go through the experience we did. I've done my own taxes every year since I was sixteen with zero issues, but after my husband was laid off last year and we had to get insurance through the exchange, things seemed too complicated to handle alone. We hired Jane specifically because of this, and she submitted our return before we received an important document related to our insurance. Not being tax professionals or having been on the exchange before, we had no idea the document was even coming, but it's apparently standard. When we got the document we asked her about it, and she created the amendment, but tried to charge us for her mistake. We STILL have not received our refund and I ended up redoing our taxes myself anyway because I was worried about what else might be wrong. I should've done that from the beginning because the online service I used? Asked for the form she didn't. I gave her two stars because there return amount did match her final amount, but the first amount she told us was THOUSANDS higher, and would've been a strain to pay back to the IRS had we not caught her mistake.
