I hired Jongmin to do my taxes for the last two years (2018-2019). In early 2020, he reached out to me to see if I wanted a consultation to talk about financial planning. The meeting was sort of chaotic, so I didn't go forward with hiring him. He then sent me a bill for that 30 minutes at a crazy high rate, even though he told me it was just an initial consultation. I sought out a new CPA because I no longer trusted him. As she was doing my taxes, she pointed out that Jongmin not only didn't enter my husband's sole proprietorship and expenses, he also MISSED OUR DAUGHTER, which lost us out on the child tax credit and stimulus checks. When I reached out to him about it, he was unsympathetic. I do not recommend him. He's shady.
