I would look for another company for representation. this company costs me many heartaches and $$$ they state they will stop any liens. they didn't. I had a major issue selling a home with a lien and getting a new loan with a lien on my record. I made many calls with no response. BBB states Ed is the owner. I worked with him as a salesman. A guy named Frank states he is the owner. took almost 4 years and they did nothing to help. I made calls to IRS to find my file during COVID. they made no extra effort, They have no backdoor numbers to communicate with IRS as they state. After years of no action, I contacted IRS myself after asking them to get me the payoff amount. 3 weeks went by and no response. In one 1 hour call, I got all the info from the IRS needed for the payoff. IRS also gave me many notes that were listed in the file that contradicted nationwide efforts. Frank stated if I make 2 payments the IRS would release my lien. I made these payments and the lien was not lifted he stated they wanted to raise my monthly payments. I was in a program called OFFER IN COMPROMISE for them to consider A lesser amount for hardship times. The IRS told me their notes showed they had asked for a form to be completed 3 separate times and since they got no reply I was automatically sent to the collections dept. He didn't set up the loan payment the IRS forced me into it due to not receiving the paperwork. When I was not getting calls returned as PROMISED or emails answered I had to call daily to see if my call would be taken and questions answered. At one point Frank stated I totally had pissed him off with the calls. Very professional, I mentioned I only did it because he would not follow through with his promise to return my call. Ed had me stop payment to the first company I hired Stating Nationwide was so much better and could get a lot more done VS the other companies out there. I should have never switched. They will not keep to their promises and their plan changes regularly. I was promised no lien, money back maybe even a large amount owed due to the hardship situation I was in. I did nothing but lose money to them. paid their fee. originally they said they would start asap. Later I found out they would not lift finger until the entire balance was paid to them upfront. The first company I hired would have started and let me make payments to reach their fee. I read they are not rated by Better Business Bureau. now I know why. I would suggest going to any company other than this one as I feel you may get some results instead of deception and dead phone lines. chuck L
