Clymer Hall & Davis has been serving the Fairbanks Community since 1977! Our mission has always been to offer our clients affordable tax preparation. We strive to make filing accurate tax returns as simple and effortless as possible. We set the goal of completing most returns without unnecessary delay to the client, most usually done in less than two days. Our services include personal 1040 returns, Sole Proprietorships, Rentals, Partnerships, Corporations, Business Returns and Estate Returns. Our office is open all year for the convenience of our clients. We offer off season tax consultation for our clients usually at no charge. We also mail out tax organizers to any current client at their request; many find it extremely helpful while trying to get all their documents and paperwork put together for their appointment.

Best and most ethical tax preparer anywhere! We’ve been with him over 30 years and wouldn’t trust anyone else. Don’t believe the pettiness of some rude, condescending people on the “review” board. It is tragic that during that time Richard was extremely sick (R.I.P. Mr. Clymer). He was a class act and they don’t need the headache of the ones used to cheap, inexperienced preparers. I have been going to Clymer, Hall, & Davis for over 18yrs now. Richard Clymer is an amazing tax accountant for both personal and business taxes. He has always been very professional and thorough while doing our taxes and make sure we get all of our write offs entered in correctly. He always tells us how it is and doesn’t sugarcoat things. By following his advice we normally always get a refund and the years we don’t he helps us make payment arrangements with IRS so we are not penalized though the roof. Richard is the first and only person I go to when it comes to taxes. A side bonus, he doesn’t charge you and arm & leg to prepare your taxes.

Clymber Hall and Davis-Fairbanks, I believe is reprehensible to say the least with an extreme lack of professional business ethic and poor customer service. First, we scheduled an appointment to see one of their tax consultants, in which the consultant took it upon himself to begin performing our taxes and entering information without any disclaimer, or consultation on what his process was. This was not our first time dealing with an on site tax representative as we have needed professional help before with what we believed were complex taxes. We thought we would find this professional help with Clymer, Hall & Davis, but we were unfortunately very very wrong.
